VIDEO: The Hronas Kidnapping

SataysandMash on YouTube has made a video based on our book chapter regarding the kidnapping of Anastasia Hronas – known as one of the children allegedly abducted by Richard Ramirez.

In the video, you can see all the newspaper articles we gathered from various sources (Ramirez’s FBI newspaper file on Archive.org, newspapers.com, and the newspaper scans that come with the appeals).

It shows that the suspect was never originally described as Ramirez and that Anastasia saw a distinctive tattoo that Ramirez never had, nor did anyone describe him drawing such an image.

I just found your website about a month ago by accident when I was trying to look up some information regarding Ramirez, as I had questions. I believe it was regarding the Hronas case but I don’t remember what, exactly. I had only found out about RR a couple weeks before that.

Anyways, I read almost every post here, and I went from thinking he was definitely guilty, to thinking that it’s very questionable if he actually did any of the crimes he was convicted of. The team here has done a thorough job of deconstructing whatever evidence was used by prosecution in court and it’s alarming to see what really happened. Reading Carlo’s book, especially the trial part it is very clear that there are discrepancies that weren’t explained well. I think this blog makes way more sense than a lot of the information that is currently presented as fact.

Strongly considering buying the book now. You all did a great job here. I seriously question the validity of the trial, even knowing that we may be in the minority to do so. Everyone else seems so adamant that RR is definitely guilty and that bothers me considering the evidence that was seen in trial.
